Job Summary:

Create submittal control drawings of HVAC controls building automation systems for plan-and-spec construction projects and owner-direct projects.

Use BAS / controls knowledge and experience to lay out high-quality and detailed control drawings in a timely and cost-effective manner in order to serve our internal and external customers well.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design activities utilizing direct digital control.

  • Applies knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

  • Responsible for reviewing contract documents and conducting job surveys.

  • Responsible for creating installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and transition to service.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, communication with staff, providing customer feedback and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in the HVAC Controls / BAS industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of study preferred; or Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in HVAC, AAS, or BAS, with a minimum of two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and service personnel.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Salary expectations: $75,000- $110,000
