VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is seeking a Seasonal Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a pre-vet college student or a vet student who is looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a veterinary clinical setting.

This position will provide an excellent opportunity for gaining hands-on experience in various veterinary care settings. As a part of our team, you will have the chance to work in Specialty, Emergency and Critical Care, Intensive Care, and Primary Care. This exposure will allow you to develop a diverse set of skills and knowledge while working alongside our experienced veterinarians and technicians.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a pre-vet college program or a veterinary college program

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to learn and take direction from veterinary staff
