What You’ll Do

Plan, directs and coordinates all aspects of the supply chain including forecast and planning activities, procurement of raw materials, MRO, tooling and services, inventory management and warehouse operations. Strategize and optimize supply chain performance and materials flow. Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations.

  • Responsible for providing daily leadership, operational direction to all assigned supply chain personnel.

  • Instill a culture focused on continuous improvement aimed at achieving predictability and efficient materials management operations

  • Responsible for development and execution of S&OP process; develop demand forecasting strategy and collaborate with Sales, procurement, and operations to support short-, medium- and long-term organizational goals; resolve foreseeable capacity or resources constraints.

  • Responsible for meeting established sales target, customer delivery requirement and minimizing delinquencies.

  • Plan and develop to maintain leveled Master Production Schedule to the shop floor; coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure customer on-time delivery performance.

  • Develop and implement inventory strategy to ensure materials availability and adequate inventory level to support sales strategy and customer long term contract and in the same time minimize OWC impact.

  • Review and analyze supply risks and conduct mitigation plan and actions.

  • Develop and implement materials forecast and purchasing strategy to ensure accurate and timely receipts of materials, tooling and MRO items while maintaining cost and quality objectives

  • Responsible for leading supplier evaluation, selection, and management activities

  • Maintain the warehouse strategy and performance including timely shipping and receiving activities, all warehouse transaction and cycle count accuracies, on-time raw material/components issuing, pickup and delivery and warehouse storage optimization while maintaining safety and quality standards.

  • Implement and maintain adequate department KPIs to track and support improvements

  • Establish, maintain relevant and proactive communications; build strong rapport with all sales and operations functions.

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, SOX and EHS policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Who You Are

  • Analytica l - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentage, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Designs workflows and procedures.

  • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

  • Computer Skills : Extensive experience with ERP system; proficient in Excel and large data set

  • Mathematical Skills : Working understanding of probability and statistics and forecasting

  • Communication Skills : Ability to communicate with all levels of management and factory personnel

  • Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict; Maintains confidentiality; Keeps emotions under control

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, business, or engineering.

APICS Certification preferred.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in operations/supply chain; manufacturing environment highly preferred

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
