We are looking for a Head Driver who is looking to grow with the company and become a transportation coordinator.

Job Duties:

  • This role is mainly completing administrative duties , running report and tracking the drivers' work progresses at the end of the shift.

  • The candidate should be willing to drive when needed.

  • Investigate and resolve any order discrepancy for incoming or outgoing orders

  • Accurately prepare all necessary paperwork and reports

  • Monitor and keep a record of all movement of the vehicules

  • Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance

  • Coordinate work to ensure services are completed on a daily basis

  • Work with the transportation supervisor to resolve all issues

Job requirements :

  • High school diploma

  • 2 to 3 years of driving experience

  • Valid class 5 license and a clean driving record

  • be able to pass a pre-employment background check

  • Must be able to lead and coach a diverse team of transportation professional

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Attention to detail, well developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to self-motivate and motivate a team

  • Ability to run reports and use a computer

  • Climb/step-up into a truck cab

  • Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations

  • Lift at least 60 lbs.
