Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of direct communications experience with internal employee communications or corporate communications.

  • Experience leading communications for an enterprise program.

  • Experience developing centralized workflow tool solutions for communications programs.

  • Experience in drafting communication documents in “plain English” (few words, easy to understand) to brand standards and formalizing for intended audience.

  • Proficient in Power Point, MS Word, Excel, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Preferred Supply Chain Management experience and/or Sourcing & Procurement.

  • Preferred experience as line of business lead communications consultant.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Experience in managing multiple, competing projects.

  • Able to synthesize large volumes of complex information into easy-to-understand content summaries based on the intended audience.

  • Proven ability to interact and communicate successfully with leadership at all levels of the organization.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Partner with appropriate SCM functional group(s) to craft clear and concise messages to inform employees and/or third parties of key changes and operational impacts, with minimal feedback or oversight required.

  • Obtain approved Distribution Lists from project requesters.

  • Obtain approval from SCM Leadership Team, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Business Partners, and Legal, as appropriate.

  • Distribute messages to in-scope audiences from SCM Communications mailbox, as appropriate.

  • Ensure projects are completed by required date.

  • Ensure communications projects follow Client Brand Standards and Writing Guide.

  • Develop page content for website and Supply Chain internal communications platforms including SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.

  • Design and update SCM Hub pages/content/design on SharePoint Online.

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.

  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business.

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business.

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.

  • May support other Business Management functions as necessary.

  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution.

  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Business Execution challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.

  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
