Legal Administrator
Our client a leading law firm in the Denver metro, seeks a dynamic individual with extensive financial knowledge to become its Law Office Firm Administrator with 7 plus years of law office firm administration experience. As the Firm Administrator, you will oversee the day-to-day administrative, financial and personnel functions of the firm. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of significant law firm management experience and possess proven financial and personnel management skills. Knowledge of TABS3 Billing and Accounting software is preferred.
he Firm Administrator reports to and collaborates with the firm’s Partners and supervises paralegals, legal secretaries, and other support staff under minimal direction. The Firm Administrator compiles extensive data for the Public Administrator. The Firm Administrator is responsible for an extensive number of financial activities including banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, deposits, approving vendor invoices, general ledger, firm professional and trust accounts, payroll, quarterly distributions, annual budgeting, financial reporting, personnel production reporting, business licensing, renewing bonds and periodic reports, personal property declaration, coordinating with CPA regarding corporate taxes, overseeing the firm billing, and monitoring monthly financial performance and explaining variances to Partners. The Firm Administrator is also responsible for the Human Resources activities of the firm including recruiting, hiring, orientation, policy development and implementation, staff training, performance management, staff counseling, terminations, exit interviews, salary administration, personnel record keeping, and benefits administration in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Additional role responsibilities include collaborating with the Partners in business development, planning and analyses, maintain firm and partner insurance policies, risk management, staff communications, quarterly staff meetings, firm security oversight, vendor, and facilities management relations, updating the Employee Handbook and the like. The Firm Administrator oversees and delegates the maintenance of IT, office equipment, vendor management, supplies, publications, records management and storage, website and social media, advertising, marketing and manages the firm’s social functions including retreats, teambuilding events and other activities. Requirements - 7+ years of related experience
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Experience with billing software for attorneys
Practical knowledge of Compensation Administration
Quality experience with Finance administration
Prior experience with Probate & Estate Administration
General familiarity with electronic billing
Proficiency in Billing Functions
Hands-on experience with Policy administration
Good understanding of IT administration
Proven knowledge of Billing Statements
Skills in Leave Administration
Wide ranging experience with Human Resources (HR) Administration
Well-founded grasp of Billing System
Proven knowledge of Budget administration
Comprehensive knowledge of legal files
Expertise in Billing Collection
Foundational knowledge in Billing software
Foundational knowledge in Administrative procedures
Comprehension of Office Administration
Administrative management experience preferred
Experience with Administrative Oversight
Solid understanding of Website administration
Practical knowledge of Legal Billing
Solid understanding of billing
Well-founded grasp of Business administration
General familiarity with Claim Administration
Experience with Operations administration
Earlier work involving Infrastructure administration
Strong familiarity with Administrative Office
Previous experience working with Lease Administration
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
