For consideration, one must live within 30 miles of the following company HUBS: Portland, ME Washington, DC Boston, MA, Dallas, TX Nashville, TN Charlotte, NC Fargo, ND Edina, MN Mason, OH About the team The Manager - Global Technology Technology Planning is responsible for planning operations for Infrastructure, Health, Corporate Payments, Platform, Global Technology and Information Security partners. S/he is responsible for managing a team of Technical Program Managers as well as potentially managing an individual effort. Technology Planning supports WEX Technology by managing the development and implementation process of WEX's products and coordinating internal system projects from initiation to delivery. The function of this role is to improve the overall maturity of tracking and reporting across the organization under the Director of Technology Planning, the Technology Innovation & Strategic Operations team and in alignment with senior management across Wex. The Manager - Global Technology Planning position ensures that the work of our Technical Program Managers is relevant to the strategy of WEX Technology and in adherence to the Wex Agile Ways of Working, and meets the Office of the CTO goals of fostering community, supporting strategy, and driving execution in partnership with senior leadership team partners. Candidates must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in an agile, dynamic, and team-oriented environment. How You'll Make an Impact Partner with the Director of Global Technology Planning to rally stakeholders and organizational leadership for to deliver around the mission and vision of the Technology Planning org Partner with other Managers of Technology Planning and Agile Practices and Delivery leadership to further a project management community of practice to facilitate collaboration and best-practice sharing among project managers and key PMO stakeholders Partners with the functional business and technology leaders on the implementation of program and project management processes, methods, techniques, tools, guidelines, and standards Leads the identification and development of roles, team configuration, and recruitment appropriate to deliver the agreed-upon goals and objectives Monitors and maintains balanced workload of the team and acts as the escalation point for all business and technical teams Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to staff Builds and maintains relationships with senior leadership, to deliver high quality products that satisfy internal and external customer expectations. Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration: BS/BA Degree in technical/information science or a related field 7+ years of relevant experience project management experience overseeing technology projects; 3+ years should reflect direct management experience of project managers / scrum masters with increasing levels of management responsibilities Expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches Budget, cost and profitability management skills Knowledge of project and resource management tools Experience implementing enterprise (cross-functional) planning process Experience in working with highly transactional, e-commerce, or finance related industry The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. B se pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
