Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings

  • Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances

  • Carefully and efficiently packs items to prevent damage while moving

  • Breaks down and sets up furniture items based on customer needs

  • Organizes items being moved to efficiently utilize available space while loading and unloading vehicles

  • Individual(s) will be responsible for loading, unloading & transporting office equipment/furniture & dispositioning items to locations in the National Capital region

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a thorough background and credit check to be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Public Trust security clearance

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must have no criminal history

  • Must have access to reliable transportation

  • Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day

  • Must have a minimum of a HS or GED

  • Must be able to stand, sit, reach, benc and walk for long periods of time.

  • Must be willing to work in all types of weather.
