Insight Global is looking for a Clinical Research Registered Nurse local to the Austin, TX area. Our client is the largest community oncology provider in the country! This individual will provide care for patients receiving cutting-edge treatments within the oncology clinic. They will work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation. Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process. Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition. Provide and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational products. Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements. Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of RN experience, preferably in Oncology and/or Clinical Research (clinical preferred over bench, checking in patients, critical thinking, working in ER/ICU, no home health and hospice experience as it doesn't translate well)

    * Graduated from an accredited program for nursing education required (BSN preferred)

    * Current Registered Nurse License (TX Specific)

    * Current BLS or ACLS Certification * OCN certification

    * CCRC or CCRP certification null
