Description

We are looking for a skilled Controller to manage and oversee all aspects of our accounting functions in the restaurant industry. The position is based in HONOLULU, Hawaii. The Controller will be the primary person responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage all accounting systems for quick and accurate reporting of financial information.

• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee all financial, project/program, and deposits accounting; ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with the company budgets.

• Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the restaurant industry.

• Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.

• Coordinate all audit activity.

• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.

• Supervise the work of the accounting department.

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to streamline and automate the company's financial processes.

• Analyze financial statements to understand the company's financial position and provide necessary reports to management.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge and understanding of DCAA

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficiency in ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Understanding of Budget Processes

• Experience in the Restaurant industry

• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements
