Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking a dynamicSystems Engineer/Project Engineerto join our company supporting the FLRAA Engineering/Technical Division. This role is designed for a " deeply engaged engineer that is knowledgeable of Systems Engineering "Vee" Process and digs into complex technical problems. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems. Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is advantageous, but it is not mandatory. More importantly, we value a candidate's enthusiasm and ability to learn and contribute across various areas of our division. Familiarity with Army Aviation is also a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide robust support for the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program, focusing on the application of the Systems Engineering "Vee" Process.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement engineering solutions that comply with project requirements.
• Engage in detailed problem-solving, ensuring that solutions are practical, efficient, and innovative.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of systems models and simulations, leveraging MBSE tools when applicable.
• Participate in all phases of project development from concept through realization, testing, and integration.
• Document processes and results meticulously, ensuring all data and changes are accurately captured in project reports.
• Demonstrate flexibility by learning and contributing to other technical areas within the Engineering Division, as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the Systems Engineering "V" Process, with practical knowledge in applying this framework to complex projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to manage tasks independently.
• Eagerness to engage in continuous learning and development within and beyond current technical expertise.
• MBSE familiarity is preferred but not mandatory
