DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will utilize engineering practices to conduct thorough reviews of bridge inspection reports and applies professional engineering seal to technically sound reports. Manages the bridge inspection supervisor and teams to ensure inspections are completed on time as per Federal Highway Administration and PennDOT policies, and that all data is accurately maintained in the BMS database. In addition, you will ensure maintenance priorities are correctly identified in inspection reports and addressed promptly in line with PennDOT Policy. Identifying bridges needing re-analysis and ensuring they are promptly analyzed as per schedule is a crucial part of your duties. Furthermore, you will develop monitoring plans for scour critical bridges and update the BMS database accordingly.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Four years of professional civil engineering experience which includes three years in the appropriate speciality and one year of experience in directing the work of civil engineers.

Special Requirements: This position requires possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.

Post Employment Requirement: For the Bridges and Transportation parentheticals, successful candidates with an out of state Professional Engineer license will be required to produce a valid Professional Engineer License issued by Pennsylvania within their initial six month probationary period.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to Apply:
