Data Engineer

* Up to $97/hour*

100% remote BUT candidates in Mountain time zone are preferred

Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a data engineer on a U.S. Department of Energy contract with our customer in Golden, CO. This assignment will last approximately seven (7) months and could be extended. This contract includes a benefits package.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced data engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data engineering principles and technologies, with a proven ability to design build and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures.

Duties Shall Generally Include:

• Building and visualization of data pipelines using various tools.

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a knack for identifying and resolving data related issues.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

• Five to ten (5-10) years’ experience using advanced SQL methods, such as pivoting and recursive SQL (preferred Oracle dialect)

• Five to ten (5-10) years’ experience with Informatica Power Center

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.

• Extensive experience with data warehouses and data marts including designing and implementing efficient data models.

• Familiarity with Python and its data related libraries.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

API development and integration.
