The Project Manager, Security & IT Operations will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the operations project. This position will partner with the IT project management team to lead and manage IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work responsively with multiple InfoSec Leaders to shape the plans and road map for InfoSec initiatives, ensuring accountability for timely completion of assigned and scheduled work.

  • Work with Management to address security maturity pain points and challenges.

  • Develop plans. execute, and ensure timely completion of InfoSec and IT operation initiatives.

  • Proactively identify/resolve issues that can impact project timeline/scope; escalate risks and blockers to leadership.

  • Conduct trend and root cause analysis and develop action plans, policies, and SOPs to avoid future issues.

  • Collaborate with other development team members, synchronizing development efforts.

  • Lead the execution of systems and software initiative operations across multiple teams, including roll-out of strategic organizational, staffing, process-related and training initiatives.

  • Track and report the progress against all monthly/annual department training plan goals and milestones and provide monthly reports to management or on as needed basis.

  • Apply project management framework, liaise with stakeholders across the organization/client group to achieve project outcome.

  • Support project management and execution of project initiatives that will help to minimize friction within the team, improve cross-functional partnerships and enable the team to be efficient.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in related (IT) role.

  • 6+ years minimum of experience as a project manager delivering initiatives in a software/SaaS company.

  • PMP Certification preferred.

  • Cybersecurity training/certification preferred.

  • Strong management skills with proven ability to develop, mentor, motivate and evaluate processes to provide high levels of service, professionalism, and efficiency.

  • M&A experience (e.g. deal analysis, integration planning) desired.

  • 1+ years of EPIC integration experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Skilled in multiple types of project management frameworks and methodologies, such as Agile & Scrum.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and writing.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally to implement technology/ software solutions.

  • Working knowledge of technology-related issues and how they might impact assigned work or client (s).

  • Ability to ask questions of technical experts to ascertain information.

  • Ability to have a flexible perspective when approaching familiar and unfamiliar work projects.

  • Strong knowledge of the varying business units within the technology department, how they interact with one another and what systems/ software are utilized.
