First Citizens Bank seeks an IT Manager to Allocate technical resources and associates within the Information Technology (“IT”) department of the Bank. Manage an associate team to ensure effective delivery of service and project results. Oversee the design, implementation, and support of systems and applications. Partner with peers, senior management, business units, and associate teams to align projects or tasks with wider organizational goals. Lead a team of developers through an Agile and DevOps process that includes continuous integration, testing, and delivery. Architect, develop, and maintain full stack .NET, .NET 2 Core and Angular 2+ on-premise and cloud web applications. Provide leadership, technical guidance, and best practices to the solution design process and to other team members. Focus on scalability, maintainability, testability, security, and performance. Work with peers in other teams to architect and implement required solutions. Provide direction and oversight to IT projects and products. Assign project tasks, drive project schedules, product releases, and convey results or updates to the appropriate parties. Develop and utilize methods of tracking performance. Establish and monitor expectations to achieve company and department goals. Make appropriate changes to IT policies, standards, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manage the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximize department achievements by providing professional development. Ensure bank needs are met through prioritization and resource allocation. Support budget forecasting, capital planning and invoicing. Direct programming, business analysis, or testing activities, including the determination of scope, time and cost estimates, and system impact within user requests. Facilitate system modifications within existing system architecture and assist with architectural changes as necessary. Elicit and refine business technology roadmaps, including setting priority and understanding cross team impacts. Serve as a technical expert and strategic leader to senior management, associates, and business units. Ensure that team activities comply with all appropriate configuration, change controls, and security standards. Participate in business meetings and special projects to provide insight on end-user needs. Keep abreast of industry trends. Identify and hold accountable vendors in support of system updates and maintenance.May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens’ Remote Work Guidelines policy. The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $169,229- $203,900 per year. The position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Experience using JavaScript client frameworks, including Angular. Experience using responsive front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and Angular FlexLayout. Extensive experience with ASP.NET MVC. Some experience with ASP.NET Core/Core 2 Middle Tier Development. Extensive experience with C#. Extensive experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP) such as WebAPI and WCF. Experience with API Gateways Database Development. Extensive experience with ORM Solutions, such as Entity Framework. Extensive experience with SQL and SQL Server. Some experience with Microsoft SSIS and SSRS ALM Tools. Experience with ALM Tools such as Microsoft TFS and Git.
