Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 for our location in Plymouth, MN .

Position Summary: Employee will conduct spin testing for programs using calibrated equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies. They will also conduct explosives inventory control and demill. Conduct tests with spin tester and centrifuge and use computer in performance of analyses and development of reports/documentation.

Skills required:

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with a High School degree.

  • Previous experience using the following testing equipment: Multimeters, Stand alone power supply, oscilloscopes.

  • Solder certified

  • Posses electrical component understanding; such as, the ability to read drawings and schematics.

  • Previous experience gathering, maintaining and compiling technical data.

  • Able to read engineering documentation and reports.

  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge or experience with explosives or energetic assembly and test.

  • Capable to safely operate equipment that is designed or modified for the build and test munitions.

  • Assembly, disassembly, processing, repairing and testing of small arms, artillery and other mechanical or electrical ordnance assemblies is a plus.

Salary Range: $50,600 - $84,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
