Nexeo HR is seeking a dedicated Granite Saw Operator to join our team in St. George UT,and contribute to the production of high-quality granite and stone materials. As a Granite Saw Operator,you will play a crucial role in our granite shop,operating saw machinery to cut materials to precise specifications.

Responsibilities

        Operate Cutting Machinery: Utilize state-of-the-art saw machinery to cut granite and other stone materials with precision and accuracy,ensuring adherence to provided specifications.

        Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of materials before and after cutting to guarantee quality standards are met,adjusting machinery as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

        Material Handling: Safely handle and maneuver heavy granite slabs and stone materials,ensuring proper placement on the saw bed and securing materials during cutting processes to prevent accidents and damage.

        Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with team members,including fabricators and supervisors,to coordinate workflow efficiently,prioritize tasks,and meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

        Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating saw machinery in a granite shop or similar environment,demonstrating proficiency in cutting techniques and machinery operation.

        Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints,drawings,and measurements accurately,ensuring precise cuts and finished products.

        Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures,including proper handling of equipment and materials and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

        Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work,ensuring accuracy in cutting and finishing processes to produce high-quality granite and stone materials.

$20.00 Per Hour

Schedule

5:00pm 2:00am | Monday Friday
