The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

  • Act in compliance with Equinor’s shipping policy and procedures and Charter Party requirements.

  • Operate,scheduleandoptimizeLiquified Natural Gas (LNG) shipments in compliance with Equinor’s HSE and Standards.

  • Managing close communication with suppliers, customers, terminals, and our service providers.

  • Collaborate with Equinor’s headquarters, regional locations and traders for operational decisions and working towards Global Operating Model.

  • Contribute to improve processes and best practices to support our trading strategy.

  • Ensure value add and commercial optimization throughout the deal life cycle for the LNG bench.

  • Be responsible forproper documentation, correct andtimelyinputs of operational information into relevant IT systems.

  • Participate in the Duty Phone setup on rotation.

  • Bachelor's orMaster'sdegree in Maritime, Economics,Logisticsor related disciplines.

  • Extensiveexperience in handling LNG cargo shipments preferably from an energy, Oil & Gas or Trading company. Prior experience of trading operations in other commodities is an advantage.

  • Strong commercial knowledge and experience in cargo operations, including technical understanding of managing Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) shipments,operatingan oil terminal, managing Ship to Ship (STS) operations, etc.

  • Established good networking and commercial relationships with counterparts in the LNG industry.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience from East of Suez incl. the Asian markets is preferred.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a record of a value adding approach.

  • Adept at multi-tasking in a dynamic commercial environment with tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in using IT technology, IMOS shipping system.

  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.
