Google Product Manager II, Storage, Google Cloud in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.

  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • Experience in cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem, including customer requirements, market trends, engaged positioning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Technology, or a business related field.

  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).

  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.

  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.

  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.

  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role as the technical/domain expert who owns communication of the product roadmap, related solutions, and engaged differences. You will partner closely with product management and product marketing teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market activities that drive business performance, product adoption, and customer satisfaction.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Gather customer insights and feedback, and incorporate the learning into the organization and product roadmap to ensure effective product launches and differentiated features.

  • Assist training/enablement teams in training the technical promoters (e.g., Professional Services Organization, Customer Engineers, and Solution Architects).

  • Interact with analysts and solution specialists at product-level to drive requirements for vertical and/or horizontal solutions.

  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Product, and/or Engineering teams to support expansion of partner and/or customer business.

  • Define business goals, audiences, buyer’s journey, strategy, solutions, positioning, key tactics, budget and dependencies.
